Two figures, a man and a woman drawn in white pastel on a gouache stain are depicted sitting in a cell-like structure possibly engages in some kind of a conversation. The light is “hitting” them from the front, casting a shadow on the background wall. The charcoal frame lends a three dimensional space illusion to the drawing by dividing the darker pigments from the lighter space on the paper. The paper that this drawing is on is a darker, rough packing paper lending the art work an industrial look and feel.
