Giulio Paolini (Genova, 5 November 1940) is one of the most significant conceptual artists of the international art scene. He started as a graphic designer, but continued to work with sculpture, painting, and later on with photography and collage. During the 1960s and early 1970s, Paolini participated in several major group exhibitions with other Arte Povera artists. The artist currently lives and works in Turin.
