Edouard Jacques Dufeu , born in Marseilles on March 27 , 1836, and died in Grasse on December 1 , 1900, is a French painter and engraver . A pupil of Antoine Vollon , he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1865 to 1890. He taught drawing in various municipal schools in Paris and then provided drawings for various newspapers. His production alternates between landscapes and still lifes.
