From the series "Omokage Genji gojuyo" (In reference to the 54 episodes of Genji), the 11th episode "Hana chiru sato" (Where the flowers blow in the wind).

Genji presents a poem to the sister of Lady Reikeiden. Inset image: A cuckoo flies over a hilly landscape, symbol of Genji's unrequited love with the lady.

Signature.: Ryusai (Hiroshige II). Main image signature.: Kochoro Kunisada hitsu. Publisher: Tsutaya Kichizo. Censorship: Aratame. Good impression with blind printing (Hamaguri shells in waves, fan folds), margins damaged by wormholes and tears, slightly creased soiled and yellowed, margins partly cut.
