LC2 Two Seats Sofais a timeless model, the only and authentic one realized byLe Corbusierfor Cassina, which has made the history of design by becoming a world famous icon in its own right. Designed for the convenience of conversation, the sofa was exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1929, as the archetype of the modern concept of furnishings, intended by the authors as "domestic equipment". The independence between the metal structure and the cushions is in line with the principles of rationalism, just as the separation between the parts follows the logic of industrial production, evoking the architectural relationship between the supporting concrete structure and the infill elements.
