Maurilio Catalano   born in 1942 in Palermo. Since 1963 he directs the Gallery and printing house "Arte al Borgo".he has received  the Ignazio Buttitta award 2009. As a Sicilian artist, you can feel the presence of the sea and ocean in his works.his ludic approach gives a dreamy sensation to his artworks which the spectator feels and can dream it as a personal experience especially for the empty spaces that he leaves intentionally in his paintings.
