The work is interesting for the subject that this European artist of the first half of the XIX century decided to realize. The main subject is the interior of an artist atelier with different figures of dummies and wayfarers. The figures on the left are weird dummies with no face and no body with a branch instead of the body. On the right, there are an old man and a child that are watching the scene. On the floor, there is the head of a doll and a dog.
