Rare and finely painted view of Saint Moritz, watercolor on paper realized by Hans Beatus Wieland between 1890 and 1920.Includes passepartout (cm. 34x44) and original frame (45x53).
Very good condition.
Wieland was a famous painter and an engraver of the end of 19th and the beginning of 1900, probably dead in 1945.
He attended the Basel School of Drawing (1884-85) and then the Art Academy of Munich (1886-1892). Among his Masters we can quote Gysis, Loefftz and Lindtschmit.
He won the bronze medal at the World Expo in Paris in 1900.
