Vintage Republic of China Flags
Two small Vintage Flags of the Republic of China, accompanied with a signed typewritten letter in Italian dated Rome, 3rd June 1970.
The letter, typewritten by Bing. F. Yen, secretary to the Chinese Embassy in Italy, addresses the attachment of a second small sample of the Republic flag. Yen states in Italian: “…si comunica che il Presidente non è in grado di aderire alla sua richiesta di apporre l’autografo sulla bandiera cinese che Ella gli ha mandato, in quanto precise disposizioni vietano di alterare la bandiera nazionale con scritte…”.
