Shou Fu: Chinese Artistic Calligraphy - SOLD
Shou Fu is a beautiful artistic calligraphy in China ink on Xuan paper realized by the Chinese artist Li Zhen in 1938.
The year and place of creation " 1938, Tea Field " in black ink are present on the left of the scroll. Below, the stamp (made of jade) of the artist in red ink, and the stamp of the tea field in red ink as well. On the higher right, there is the stamp of the city Chang An (today known as Xi'an ), an ancient city governed by more than ten Chinese dynasties.
This is a unique piece, showing the handwritten sentence " Shou Fu ", meaning " wishing you a long and prosperous life ".
