A marvelous representation of cavalry that makes us still today hear the military call with the trumpet and the rumble of the running horses.

This plate is the thirteen plate from the series " Scelta di battaglie inventate e disegnate da Francesco Antonio Simonini, e da altri celebri autori per uso de' pittori, e dilettanti, fatte incidere, e dedicate al nobilissimo sign.r marchese Carlo Armando Monti patrizio bolognese ultimamente dichiarato tenente generale negli eserciti di S.M.a cristianissima da Luigi Guidotti [...], Bologna, da Luigi Guidotti librajo, e stampatore sotto alle scuole, 1760 ".
