Poetry, Complete Collection including 30 of the 31 numbers, from 1905 to 1909.

The magazine "Poesia" (Poetry) was founded by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and published monthly in Milan from 1905 to 1909.

It quickly became the incubator of futurism. The major artists who involved in the Futurist movement gathered together. Sem Benelli, F.T. Marinetti and V. Ponti were directors. Their joint leadership lasted one year. From N. 3-4-5 of 1906, only Marinetti, who in fact was the real animator and sponsor, held the director alone. The newsroom was located in via del Senato n. 2 in Milano, also Marinetti’s home. Many artists, like Buzzi, Folgore, Govoni, Palazzeschi, De Maria, worked in all the editions without interruptions. Even when the Futurist Movement developed and reached maturity, Marinetti with his “faithful” group decided to end this magazine in 1909.The magazine consisted of 31 publications, had a rectangular format in album, with the varicoloured cover which drawn by Alberto Martini.
