Gae Aulenti , pseudonym of Gaetana Emilia Aulenti (Palazzolo dello Stella,1927 - Milan, 2012 ) was an Italian designer and architect, remembered as one of the best architects of her generation.

She won numerous awards including the prestigious Imperial Prize for architecture awarded by the Japan Art Association of Tokyo. Among her architectural and design works, the Musée d'Orsay is remembered with the floral theme of the lunettes of the vault (1980-86), among the main works of the Neoliberty current. 

Piero Castiglioni (1944-) is an Italian architect, considered one of the world's leading exponents of lighting design.

FontanaArte is an Italian company founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti. Specialized in the processing of glass and furniture accessories, it is famous especially for its curved crystal products and for the lighting equipment.
