In the same year in which the Museum of Modern Art of New York presented the burning star of Claes Oldenburg with a solo-exhibition, in 1969, Oldenburg was realizing the Miniature Soft Drum Set . In our case, it is not a colossal sculpture concerning the compulsory American relationship with food, but it deals with a soft three-dimensional musical instrument, a drum.
