Jane Avril
Jane Avril is a chromolithograph (of 4 colors) poster on wove paper, realized by the French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901).
Monogram and date on plate on the lower right margin.
This is a wonderful reduction of the famous advertising poster designed by Lautrec in 1899 and published by Mourlot in Paris in 1951 and printed by H. Stern, Paris.
In very good conditions, except for some little holes on the higher margin and some light folds on the lower margin and some sporadic stains on the external white margins. Defects that do not affect the image. This modern artwork has preserved its bright colors and its high quality of the print. Surely a fashionable modern artwork and an evergreen for your house.
An amazing vintage advertising poster representing the charismatic figure of Jane Avril and at the same time the fine and sophisticated fin de siècle taste.
