Gabriele Galantara (Montelupone, 1865 - Rome, 1937)
Gabriele Galantara was a journalist and one of the leading Italian caricaturists and satirical designers, illustrator of " L'Asino" review. Rata-Langa, A.A. Lagrant, Blitz and Grottesco were his art-names. The stroke of his drawing was marked and decisive, of an expressionist style. He was also a collaborator of the Italian Socialist Party newspaper "L'Avanti!".
