Very fresh and energetic geometrical composition realized by the German artist Hans Richter in the 1940s. The technique is calchography on paper and the composition is in relief. The color of this abstract composition is warm, similar to gold, and the colored parts are in perfect conditions.

This artwork was realized by the German graphic artist, avant-gardist, and experimenter H ans Richter  (Berlin, 1888 – 1976).  His first approach to modern art occurred in 1912 with the "Blaue Reiter" and, in 1913, through the "Erster Deutscher Herbstsalon" in Berlin. In 1914, he was influenced by Cubism, and began contributing to the periodical Die Aktion in Berlin. He exhibited for the first time in 1916 in Munich and Die Aktion published a special edition of the event. During the same year, he moved to Zurich to follow the Dada movement.
