"Rosa dei Venti" is an iconical set that has been realized in the 1970s by the Italian artist and designer Mario Ceroli. Mario Ceroli (Castel Frentano, 1938) is an Italian sculptor and scenographer. Mario Ceroli's furniture designs evolve directly from his art. In the 1960s, influenced by Pop Art artists, Ceroli began a production of oversized wooden objects. In 1967, he became involved in the experimental poor art movement and began using unseasoned wooden boards. His furnishings explore the relationship between sculpture and its surroundings, as can be seen in the high theatrical rear chairs.
