Nesso Lamp is an original pair of lamps designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and the Città Nuova Architects Group in the 1960s, Nesso is an international icon of futuristic and democratic design. Part of the re-edited "Modern Classics" line, it was a marvel of ABS thermoplastic injection molding when it was first introduced in 1967, thus bringing industrial materials and methods to home and office environments. A touch of color and a design inspired by nature, Nesso was born from the visionary identity of Artemide. His iconic curves unfold into a real collector's item, an expressive piece of great caliber and international fame. An iconic work that has staged its presence in several landmarks, Nesso is considered a valuable work of art. An "icon" of design, part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
