Very fresh artwork realized by Crispin van de Passe (Arnemuide , 1564 – Utrecht, 1637), a Dutch engraver, painting, drawer, and miniaturist. He was the father of Simon, Willem, Magdalena, and Crispijn, and a pupil of Dirck Coornhert. He realized especially portraits for the European noble families, as well as engravings with religious and mythological subjects. His style was influenced by Sten Adamsen. He used to sign his works with the monograms CVP and PCV with intertwining letters.
