Se La Pioggia Fosse Di Bitter Campari is an original artist copy realized by an unknown artist in the second half of the 20th century after an original drawing realized by Fortunato Depero in the 1920s.
Black and white china ink. Very good conditions.
Between 1925 and 1928, Fortunato Depero produced a huge number of advertising sketches for Campari, a manufacturer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, directed in those years by the Milanese entrepreneur Davide Campari.
The choice of black is attributable to commercial motivations: Campari's campaign aimed at a specific target, an acculturated consumer, a regular reader of newspapers, in which most of the black and white advertisements are published.
