At The Harbor

At The Harbor  is an original colored lithograph  realized by  Alberto Chiancone during the 1970s.

The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. Artist's proof (P.A. written in pencil on the lower left). Original title: Al Porto .

The scene is set in a port and portrays men, probably fishermen, sitting around a wooden table while talking to each other, perhaps exchanging information on their past fishing days.

Many of the works created by the artist are set in ports, beaches or more generally in seascapes. Indeed, Chiancone, born in Porto Santo Stefano, lived also in Naples, a city that surely inspired many of his works.
