Willy Rizzo (Naples, 22 October 1928 – 25 February 2013). He was an Italian photographer and designer. Willy Rizzo began his photography career in Paris in the early 1940s. Great photographer of personalities, fashion and great reportage, he has exhibited all
over the world: at the Galerie Agathe Gaillard in Paris, at the Galerie Bukamura in Tokyo, at the Maison de la Photographie in Moscow, at the Mallett gallery in New York and London, at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco, or even at the MUBE of Sao Paulo.
Imagination and necessity launch Willy Rizzo into the world of furniture design. As a photographer for Playboys and Starlets, he had a ready-made client base eager to build their quarters around an ultra-modern Rizzo piece and objects that remain as timeless
as his images of him.
