Anfibio is a sofa bed, which has always been considered one of the most revolutionary and innovative products of Italian design, was designed in 1971 by Alessandro Becchi for the Giovannetti company of Pistoia.

From its first public appearances in the early 1970s, it was selected and became part of the design collections of the largest museums in the world; first of all the MoMA of New York, which bought it in 1972. Since then, 13 museums of contemporary art have included it among their pieces.
