Good condition on a yellowed paper, except some torn paper on the left margin.
Stamp signed on the lower right corner.
Hermann René Georges. (Paris 1864 - Les Saintes- Marie-de-la-Mer 1940). A highly controversial painter and caricaturist, he produced much for L'Assiette au Beurre until its closure in 1912. During the Great War he drew memorable plates for Le Rire rouge, Le Journal and La Bajonnette.
Charles Lucien Léandre (1862–1934) was a French caricaturist and painter. He was born at Champsecret (Orne), and studied painting under Émile Bin and Alexandre Cabanel.
