Gigantja

Gigantja is one of the best works realized by Alberto Sordi in 2011.

The title originates from the name of the colossal megalithic complex of Gigantija, located on the Maltese island of Gozo. Amazons and titanic warriors roam under the walls of an imposing archaic city, made up of nuraghi, Cathar bas-reliefs, Easter Island Moai, Arab and Swedish towers. The symbolism used refers not only to the ancient Sardinian populations but also to a whole atavistic world, in which there were even peoples of giants, which includes Celts, builders of labyrinths and inhabitants of the Korean island of Jeju, where we find nuraghi and statues of the Great Father (the Great Father) as in Sardinia.
